Purpose built and architect designed in 1990, the Mews Nursery & Playclub offers childcare provision between the ages of 3 months and 13 years, and is open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Since the actress Penelope Keith cut the red ribbon and declared the Mews officially open, the centre has grown into one of the most established and happy child care centres in the City of Bath, with an 'Outstanding' Ofsted inspection (2009/10).

The Mews is a non-profit making organisation divided into three areas; the nursery, the pre school, and the after school club. Each centre maintains a high standard of modern equipment with a broad range of eductional games, toys, role-playing costumes, art-stock, outdoor installations, and computers.
